Born in 1960 as a pioneer of industrial design applied to doors, Lualdi is now a reality capable of dialoguing with designers in order to offer the most appropriate solutions for diverse needs, while also providing boiserie and furnishings. The ability to interpret details, a large catalogue of starting solutions together with an archive ten times bigger in embodiments allow the company to provide their customers a “total living” environment. That is why Lualdi creates projects worldwide.
For four generations the Lualdi family has led the company dedicating a lot of attention to the quality of the product and to working processes in their every step and aspect, but also the daily commitment to the protection of the environment and for socially and ecologically sustainable use of materials and resources.
At the base of its philosophy there are experimentation of new forms and new technologies and more innovative and avant-garde processes and materials. Thanks to this intense research and development activity, Lualdi has won over time prizes of international importance, for example the Compasso d’Oro for L16 designed by Piero Lissoni, a structure with an exceptionally thin and light shutter, similar to a sheet, creating a fluid motion, and with the ability of making every visible element disappear for a result of perfect uniformity.
